There is a huge population of watery wonders in our world, from the playful dolphin jumping out over the water, to the small little frog living by the pond. In the very deepest waters of the oceans live strange-looking fish that have adopted to living in the darkest conditions of the ocean world e.g. hatchetfish.

Most of these watery wonders live in the water all of the time, like dolphins or salmon, but the toad and the frog are different. They live on land but breed in water. This type of animal is called an amphibian.

Lets go and meet some more wonderous creatures that live in our waters!
