Vacancy: Assitant Librarian, Houses of the Oireachtas

The Assistant Librarian provides authoritative and impartial information to support elected members in their parliamentary duties. The information supplied by an Assistant Librarian is used to inform policy development and policy analysis and the scrutiny of legislation and for Committee work. The ideal candidate will hold a qualification of at least level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications and a qualification at level 9 in Library and Information Studies on the National Framework of Qualifications. S/he will have experience of delivering information services in a library or research environment.
