After nearly thirty years of customer's requests to be allowed see the work in progress or try their hand at throwing a pot, Louis Mulcahy has dedicated an area at the pottery to those visitors who wish to experience the craft for themselves. A professional thrower can be seen going through the daily routine of throwing pots, and visitors can try their skill at making the simplest shape. It is great fun and absolutely free to take away the piece you make.
