Coppercoast Geopark

The Copper Coast European Geopark is situated on the south east coast of Ireland near Tramore and Dungarvan. In the 19th century copper mines were an industrial feature of the area. The geopark explains the formation of the landscape over millions of years due to the action of the ocean, seismic, volcanic activity, glaciation and weather.
