The Historical Harp Society of Ireland promotes the making and playing of historical harps with particular reference to the early Irish harp, encouraging the exploration of appropriate contemporaneous techniques and repertories. The society runs a national teaching programme for both adults and children; beginners’ workshops; Scoil na gCláirseach – Summer School of early Irish Harp each August; a student harp rental scheme; a members' book and CD library and an on-line shop for replica harps and CDs.
