Curiosities, customs and patterns

The final page on Form A of the survey had the headings "Curiosities" and "Customs, Patterns, etc"

Curiosities were to include " Curious objects, structures, monuments, landmarks.....freaks of nature...in fact any scene or object which may be regarded as queer, quaint or mirth-provoking"

Included in the curiosities are "Hoof-marks of St.Patrick's horse" and the gardens at Corraun House.

In the section on customs and patterns, there are descriptions of St Colman's Well and St. Brendan's Well.
