Big Houses in South Dublin

This listing is based on Lewis' Topographical Dictionary of Ireland (1837) and includes "Big Houses" and smaller residences. All residences in civil parishes which partly lie partly or completely within the borders of South Dublin County are listed.

House names omitted by Lewis are included in brackets. The number of omitted house names is expected to grow with further investigation.

A possible definition of a "big house" is one which had approximately 500 acres of land with it or a valuation of £500.
