The letter contained in the above envelope:

Dear Sir,
I sent to .. William by yesterday's post a cheque ... my Banker for 500 £ in consequence of your application ... him for further funds. You will of course look to him for your supply. I send this to Dublin and a duplicate to the Hibernian Hotel, Waterford in case you should have arrived there before getting this.

The letter below is from Henry Villiers-Stuart to Henry Denehy, 24, College Green, Dublin, about the title to Curraroche, dated 14th April 1836.

"... If the possibility of a revisionary interest in the crown be the main point upon which a farther search is necessary, I believe it will be found that by an act of either the last session or the session before last, the crown has given up it's claims, and that they have ceased and determined accordingly. Pray let me know whether I am right in my belief. The act in question was brought in by either Mr. Lynch or Mr. O'Connell - the latter I think..."
