Pte. Michael Morrissey Died of Wounds

DIED OF WOUNDS 

Private Michael Morrissey, son of Mr. Morrissey, Convent Hill, Waterford, has died of wounds received at the Dardanelles on the 12th May. He served twenty years in the Royal Irish Regiment, and went to Melbourne about 18months before the outbreak of the war.
He joined the 6th Battalion of the Australian contingent and received mortal wounds in the Dardanelles operations.
