Carlow County Library Service has opened the doors of all Library Branches in the County and invites you to come and tell your tale or even to enjoy a few yarns. Aideen and Jack are looking forward to meeting you and will be available in the following locations:

  • Tuesday, May 27th 2-4pm Muine Bheag Library
  • Friday, May 30th 2-4pm Tullow Library
  • Wednesday, June 4th Borris Library
  • Friday, June 27th Carlow Library

“We've are delighted to have received funding from the Arts Council to continue collecting stories from Carlow Town & County”, Says Aideen McBride. “The stories we collect will be presented to Carlow Libraries and the National Folklore Collection in UCD to be preserved for future generations. There'll be public meetings across the county, where Dad (Jack Sheehan) and I will tell a few stories and invite those present to add their own.”
