Weingreen Museum of Biblical Antiquities

The Weingreen Museum of Biblical Antiquities is situated in the Arts and Social Sciences Building, Trinity College, Dublin. Professor Weingreen was Erasmus Smith's Professor of Hebrew (1939-1979). The collections include artifacts discovered in excavations of ancient Biblical sites in the Holy Land. There are also artifacts from ancient Babylon and Mesopotamia, Pharaonic Egypt, classical Greece and Rome, Byzantium and Medieval Christian Europe.
