Irish Agricultural Museum

The Irish Agriculture Museum showcases the dramatic changes in Irish rural life in the 20th century. In the mid to late 19th century Irish domestic life and farming methods had changed little in hundreds of years. Farming communities were dependent on man and horse power. Steam power and later the internal combustion engine and electricity altered the entire fabric of Irish rural life. The museum charts these changes with nostalgic and informative exhibitions.
