Memoirs of the Geological Survey of Ireland was first printed in 1922. Although this is not a new edition, it does edit the few errors that appeared in the 1922 print. A note on the reprinting of the memoirs is provided by Murrogh V. O’Brien, Director of the Geological Survey of Ireland.

These memoirs are a good resource for anybody with an interest in Ireland’s mineral resources. Each chapter is dedicated to the discussion of a different mineral, sixteen in total, and their locations around the country. A large, detailed map of the minerals of economic importance is provided.
