Gore-Booth Sisters posing for Drumcliffe Creamery

Gore-Booth Sisters

In this photograph, Constance and Eva pose in evening dress. Both sisters are to be seen wearing an armband entitled Drumcliffe Co-operative Creamery.

This was to advertise the new creamery in the area, which Sir Henry Gore-Booth played an integral role in establishing.

The foundation of the creamery is yet another example of the close knit relationship between the Gore-Booth family and their tenants in the locality.
