Representative Church Body Library
The Library is the Church of Ireland's principal repository for its archives and manuscripts. Records from parishes, dioceses and cathedrals mainly in the Republic of Ireland and the non-current records of the General Synod and the Representative Church Body have been transferred to the Library, although some records remain in local custody. The manuscript collection includes papers of prominent clergy and laity and records of Church of Ireland organisations and societies.

Quaker Historical Library
Documents relating to the Religious Society of Friends in Ireland are kept in the Friends Historical Library Dublin. Manuscript material includes minutes of meetings dating from the first settlements of Quakers in Ireland in the 17th century, together with certificates of births, marriages and deaths and extensive collections of letters, diaries, genealogical material and photographs. Printed matter includes books from the 17th century onwards, together with pamphlets and newspaper cuttings. Databases cover family details, disownments and removals. The Library is open to readers from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm on Thursdays. Genealogical and historical research can be undertaken by arrangement.

Glucksman Map Library
The Glucksman Map Library is used by both staff and students of Trinity College Dublin to access cartographical material. Visitors can view maps which do not exist in other libraries in the city but can arrange an appointment in advance.

Special Collections Reading Room at the University of Limerick, Glucksman Library
The Special Collections Library was established in 1998 and contains the University of Limerick's archives and rare books. The library contains over 25,000 books including the Norton collection of Irish printing and the Fr. John Leonard Limerick collection. The archives include estate papers, literary papers and political collections. Access to the Special Collections Library is by appointment and contact details are available on the library website.

Special Collections Reading Room at the University of Limerick, Glucksman Library -
Cashel Folk Museum
Cashel Folk Village features historical retrospectives of the Irish revolutionary period 1916-1923, the Great Irish Famine 1845-1851. Also featured is a penal chapel containing religious artifacts, the original Croke Memorial that commemorates Archbishop Croke of Cashel and Emly who was a founding member of the Gaelic Athletic Association, a traditional 'tinker' caravan and a 19th century 'brougham' carriage. Of further interest is a statue of the controversial World War II-era IRA leader Sean Russell (1893-1940), a replica blacksmith's forge and information about Catholic clergyman John Lanigan (1758-1825).

National Library of Ireland
The National Library holds a large numbers of sources relevant for family history research. These include Catholic Parish Registers, Griffith ’s Valuation, Tithe Applotment Books, trade and social directories, regional and national newspapers, and published family histories as well as collections of estate papers and Genealogical Office Manuscripts. The Library also provides on-site access to a number of e-resources which are useful for family history research.

Institute of Technology Tralee Library
The library service in IT Tralee operates on both the North and South Campus. The Library & Information Resources (LIRC) building, which is located in the North Campus in Dromthacker, has seating for 400 students over three floors. The South Campus Library, which is located in Clash, has 86 study spaces. The library also provides: an online catalogue of its books; photocopying and printing facilities; and access to a wide range of Internet and online database services to cater for the needs of academics, students and library staff.

Lismore Heritage Centre
Lismore Heritage Centre uses audio-visual media to chart the history of Lismore accompanied by 'Brother Declan.' Visitors can walk through the exhibition galleries and encounter historic figures from Lismore's past. One exhibition is devoted to Robert Boyle, 'The Father of Modern Chemistry' who was responsible for the scientific principle called 'Boyle's Law.'
