The programme of events for the 2002 O Carolan festival lists the lecture, the harp and instrument workshops, the music competitions and concert events for that year. The festival ran from the 4th to the 6th of October in 2002.

In 1993 the Harp Festival at Noober was officially launched by Minister Noel Dempsey. The Chieftains played in concert that year. Also attending was Brian Keenan who had been sustained by thoughts of Carolan while a captive in Beirut. Keenan went on to write a novel, "Turlough", based on Carolan's life.

The festival programme of 2004 contained many tributes to Tony Finnegan who died in December 2003. A traditional concert was held in his memory. Arthur Edelstein attended to launch his book on O Carolan called "Fair Melodies". Seamus MacGabhann lectured on O'Carolan and the Big Houses -Their Culture, Fate and Legacy.

The Nobber festival committee expanded their title in 1993 to take in both harp and cultural themes. Festival events are listed, the new Meath Harp School is described and a synopsis of the annual lecture, this time on Michael Clarke of Whitewood (1750-1847), is given.

O Carolan Pageant
An O'Carolan festival was held in Kilmainhamwood in 1970 to celebrate the tricentenary of the birth of O'Carolan. Members of the pageant included Carolan as a boy and as an adult, Bridget Cruise, Mrs MacDermottroe and her husband and some of the patrons for whom Carolan composed music.

What is reputed to be Carolan's skull is kept in the National Museum in Dublin. These photographs of it were taken by the Rev. L. Donnellan in the early twentieth century.

The 2005 festival programme lists all the competitions, events and workshops taking place in Nobber for the festival weekend. As had become custom over the year the official opening and lecture took place in Nobber library. the lecute by Seamus MacGabhann was on The Anglo-Norman Influence on North Meath Heritage.

The 1995 festival programme listed all the festival events for that year. There was an article on the Belfast Harp Orchestra who made a return visit to Nobber in 1995. Articles on Voices of Pre-Famine Meath and on Archaeological Excavations at Moynagh Lough near Nobber were included.

The 1992 festival programme celebrated the Year of the Harp. It included the festival listings and events, the chairman Tony Finnegan's welcome address and an articel on Peadar O Gealacáin or Peter Gallegan the Meath scribe and poet who lived near nobber from 1792-1860.
