What is a wildflower?
It is a flower that grows naturally in the wild. A wildflower has not been planted by anyone.
Wildflowers can grow almost anywhere! You find them in woodlands, ditches, roadsides and gardens.
There are a lot of wildflowers at The Burren in Co. Clare. They grow between the limestone rocks e.g. daisies, wild strawberries, wild garlic etc.
