Cow parsley grows in shady places. It likes grassy banks and hedgerows. It really dislikes wet, boggy ground.

The cow parsley flowers from April to June. The tiny white flowers grow in little bunches. These bunches spread out over the top of the plant. They look like small umbrellas.

The fruit of the cow parsley is long and black. It falls off the plant in September. The leaves are shaped like a triangle.

Insects love the scent of the cow parsley!
