Limestone pavement is one of Ireland ’s most treasured landscape features. It is a habitat rich in wildflowers, ferns and woodland plants. They are a rare habitat in the world.
The Burren is Ireland's most famous limestone area. More than 700 different flowering plants and ferns have been recorded here.
