Many people in your community give up their spare time without getting paid. These people are called volunteers. Some people train football teams or other sports teams. Others work with different clubs and organisations such as girl guides, scouts and youth clubs. Some volunteers work with people who need help and are sick or elderly. All these people give up their own time generously.
