A palette is a board with an arrangement of colours on it. Here is a typical computer application ‘colour palette’. Can you name some of the colours you see?
Here are the names of some of them: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Ivory, Beige, Silver, Gold, Azure, Bisque, Pink, Salmon, SkyBlue, Turquoise, Coral, Tan, Lime, Olive, Maroon, Crimson, Brown, Cyan (Aqua), Magenta (Fuchsia), DarkRed, DarkOrange, DarkGreen, DarkCyan, DarkBlue, DarkViolet, DarkMagenta, Purple.
Can you think of what might happen if you mixed some of these colours?
