There are lots of different kinds of scientists!
Astronomers study the planets and stars in space.
Biologists study plants and animals. They investigate things like how plants live and grow and how animals live.
Chemists try to find out what things are made of, and often make new things.

Physicists study lots of different things that have energy and can make things happen ( like electricity, magnetism, light, sound, heat). They also study forces – pushes and pulls and movement.
There are lots of other kinds of scientists, who study the weather, the sea and many other different things.
