Adding to the existing school building
Sometimes older schools have extensions built.
This can happen when the number of children attending a school increases and there are not enough classrooms.
Look at the school in the next picture:
Can you find which is the new part of the school?
From which point do you think that the new part of the building was added onto the old part?
Consider the shape of the old and new part. Are they similiar? In what way is the extension different?
