© Donegal County CouncilEveryone enjoys a trip to the beach but visitors have to be careful not to leave any damage behind.
Access to the beach can often damage the sensitive dune areas surrounding the shore. Driving on some beaches can also cause a lot of damage.
Unfortunately, while most people are careful, litter can be left behind. Even worse, some people deliberately dump household rubbish on beaches. Visitors need to be careful to clean up after themselves and their dogs.
