Cabinteely Park is situated in Cabinteely just off the N11. It is about 45 hectares in size.
The park is situated on land which surrounds Cabinteely House. The house was in private ownership from when it was built in the 1760s until 1984 when it was bought by Dublin County Council.
The park contains many of the features you would expect to find on the grounds of a big house from the 18th and early 19th centuries. There is a boundary wall surrounding the park, gate lodges, ornate iron entrance gates and a walled garden. There are groups of trees scattered throughout the park.
These days, the house is used for cultural events.
