A rugged beauty
In contrast to its inhabitants, the Castle does not appear hugely glamorous from the outside.

Luke LeslieIt is built in the Scottish Baronial design which favoured solid features to style. The splendid gardens are invisible to an approaching visitor. Instead, the view is dominated by the castle's imposing front facade.
To the rear of the house the gardens are split by a Renaissance style cloister which links the main house to a single storey wing containing the Library and Billiard Room.

The range of luxury accommodation available includes a private members' club in the Castle, a 4-star Hunting Lodge Hotel or a choice of 4-star self-catering Village Cottages.
As well as receiving paying guests, the Castle is still a home to the eccentric Leslie family, with two of the surviving ancestors Sir Jack Leslie and Samantha Leslie living in the house.
