There are over one hundred primary schools in South County Dublin. Over the last thirty years, there have been some very noticeable changes in these schools, both inside the classroom and from the outside.

Growing populations in many town areas and changing curricula within schools have meant that older schools have been replaced by new buildings with improved and increased facilities, like computer rooms, gymnasiums and science labs.

In this section, we will take a look at some famous primary schools in the history of South Dublin.
