Country Homes
If you are ever in a car travelling through the countryside, take a look at the different houses you pass. You will notice huge differences in size and style between the different houses. Some are bungalows, with only one floor, while other houses can have two or three floors.
The large, red old house shown above is Woodford House, near Cashel, at Gooldscross.
Some houses in rural Ireland are built right on the edge of the road. Others are more isolated, and are built down laneways or in fields away from the road.
