The Galtees

Galtee Mountains

The Galtee Mountains are Ireland's highest inland mountain range. Galteemore is one of only three munroes in Ireland outside of Kerry. A munroe is a mountain over 3,000 feet.

Coolmore Stud is the largest thoroughbred breeding operation in the world. It has produced many champion racehorses. The rich limestone pastureland and moderate climate of Tipperary provide an ideal environment for raising young horses.
