Horse Racing and Tipperary
Hosing Down the Horses
Hosing down the racehorses after exercise is essential, as it removes sweat and dirt. It also provides an opportunity to examine the horse to make sure it did not recieve any injuries during the exercise period. Hosing down the horses and putting them away clean also reduces itching and irritation to their skin and improves hair coat quality.
