There are two main mountain ranges in County Waterford. The Comeraghs act as the spine of the county. They stretch from the coast near Dungarvan inland as far as Clonmel in County Tipperary. The Knockmealdown Mountains are located on the north-west boundary of the county, between Lismore, Cappoquin and Ballyduff.

Image courtesy of De La Salle Scout Group, WaterfordThe River Suir is the main river that flows through Waterford. It is 183km long and its origin is the Devil's Bit Mountain in County Tipperary. Together with the River Nore and the River Barrow, the river is one of The Three Sisters.
Waterford's coastline includes the seaside resorts of Ardmore in the southwest of the county and Dunmore East in the southeast. It also includes the Copper Coast Geopark which has 25km of rugged landscape.
