This plaque was unveiled on the centenary of the death of Anne Devlin in September 1951 in Aughrim by Mrs. Sean T. O’Kelly, wife of the President at the time. Inscribed in Irish and English it reads:

Courtesy of Wicklow County LibrariesOne hundred years after her death, Anne Devlin was honoured in Co. Wicklow. A marble plaque set in Wicklow granite was unveiled on the bridge in Aughrim. With this, Anne's place in the county's history was set in stone.
The plaque was the work of W. J. Geoghegan and the unveiling was performed by Mrs Sean T. O'Kelly, the wife of the President of Ireland.
The plaque reads as follows:
'Anne Devlin
Faithful servant of Robert Emmet
Kinswoman of Michael Dwyer
Heroine of the Rising of 1798
Born at Cronebeg 1781
Died in Dublin 18th Sept 1851
Aged 70 years.'
