A Green School: Examine the pictures

In the gallery below, look at the next set of pictures of the same school and try to decide what you can see in the school environment that might have helped the school to recieve the Green Flag.

Did you notice the bird nesting box in picture 2?
This was put in place by the children because they wanted to encourage birds to nest in the trees near the school.

Did you see that the school playground was litter free in Picture 4 ?

Did you notice that Picture 3 has new trees which were planted in the grounds?

From looking at the pictures, can you think of any other reasons why this school gained the Green-Flag award?
