The Board of Guardians previous to the opening of the proposals on the 5th of January will determine on the salaries to be given. - The same will then be intimated to the several applicants. A married couple for the offices of Master and Matron will be preferred.
Advt. Milford Union
The Board of Guardians of the Milford Union will consider applications from candidates working to apply for the offices of Master, Matron and Porter on the 5th of January, a married couple for the offices Master and Matron will be preferred. - The Board of Guardians will determine on the 5th of January the amount of salary to be attached to each office and then inform the several candidates who must attend in person. - The most satisfactory references will be required to be produced. - The nature of the duties to be performed as prescribed by the Poor Law Commissioners can be found not on application To the Clerk - sealed application addressed to the Chairman with testimonials to be sent to the Clerk of the Union on or before the 3rd of January.
