Force and Energy
Forces Keep The World Together
A force is a push or a pull. Something begins to move or changes direction or slows down when it is pushed or pulled. Pushes and pulls can also change the shape of things.
There are lots of different kinds of forces and the world would be very strange without them.
Energy makes Everything Happen
Energy is what makes everything in the world happen. We cannot always see energy, but we can see the effects of it.
Without energy, nothing could live or grow, and there would be no heat, light, sound or movement.
