Spectrum Quiz
What have you learned about light from Newton ’s investigations?
Do you agree that light can be broken up into many different colours?
Isaac Newton showed that (red, yellow, white or blue) light could be split into a set of colours which he called a (prism, spectrum, telescope). Newton allowed light from (an electric light, the sun, a candle) to pass through a glass (prism, ball, box). He found that the direction of the beam of light changed and that violet was bent (most, least) and red was bent (most, least).
