Loughboy was the first library to set up an Irish Circle in 2012 and it has flourished since with a full house every Wednesday at 11am.Since its establishment we have supported a mature student with Leaving Cert oral Irish and just recently a trainee primary school teacher has joined us in preparation for upcoming job interviews. Pictured are regular attendees Mairin Ni Dhalaigh, Conor McGabhann, Seosamh O Donngaile and Atieh Donnelly. Atieh is originally from Iran and the Irish Circle recently enjoyed some traditional Iranian food called kuku prepared by her.

Loughboy Staff are assisting The Irish Wheelchair Association in setting up a new book club commencing at Loughboy library on Tuesday April 1st. We wish its leader Eoghan Murphy every success with it.
