Healthcare in Ireland is changing significantly as a result of various demographic, organisational and resourcing factors. Future healthcare systems will need to be very different in order to respond efficiently and equitably to forecasted demand.
The Office of the Chief Information Officer, incorporating eHealth Ireland, is being established in the HSE to lead the transformation of ICT within the health delivery system in support of fundamental health service reform, while also leading the development of an eHealth ecosystem within the Irish health system.
The role represents an exceptional opportunity for a very high calibre Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professional with extensive proven strategic leadership and business experience.
