Two year contract

Applications are invited for a full-time, two-year fixed-term contract position of Library Assistant in the Library of St Patricks College.

He/she will be flexible, have excellent planning and organisational skills, the ability to work effectively on their own initiative and as part of a wider team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong IT skills, including social media. The appointment will be made on the Library Assistant salary scale at a point in line with current Government Pay Policy (Non-New Entrants Scale 23,190-37,339 per annum including two Long Service Increments OR New Entrants to Public Sector commence at the 1st point of the New Entrants Scale i.e. 21,360 p.a.).

The successful candidate must successfully pass the Garda vetting process in order to be appointed to the position.
