Clare Local Studies Project

Clare Local Studies Project (CLASP) was established in order to create awareness and increase the accessibility of local studies sources in County Clare. CLASP publications cover a variety of facests of the Calre history such as pre-famine deprivation, Scattery Island in the 20th century. The project group has also helped produce online genealogical resources such as the 1901 census of County Clare.
