Local History & Archives, Kerry Library is home to the archives of Kerry County Council and the three Town Councils of Killarney, Listowel and Tralee.   It also holds records of predecessor bodies of the present local authority system, including the Grand Juries, the Poor Law Unions, the Rural District Councils and the County Board of Health & Public Assistance. In addition, the Archive contains collections of private origin, including solicitors’ papers, literary and business archives, and estate paper collections. Access to the archives is by appointment only.
