Offaly County Library Local Studies & Archives

Offaly County Library Local History collection has an extensive range of resources, ranging from archives, local newspapers dating from the mid-19th century, early film, antiquarian books and artefacts. The "Offaly" collection is a unique and rich resource for the study of Offaly's culture and heritage. These include: maps, newspapers, folklore collection, and other valuable archival material.
