Ardgillan Castle and Victorian Gardens
Built by Rev. Robert Taylor, Ardgillan is a large period country with castellated embellishments dating from 1738. It is situated on a height with a panoramic view of the Irish Sea. It has two stories with a basement and lawns to the south. Both the kitchen and ground floor have been made public. On the second floor, colour maps and text from the Down Survey are on display alongside the designs of the Hutton Coachbuilders.
