Charles Stewart Parnell Heritage Centre
The small rural village of Creggs, Co. Galway was the scene of Irish patriot and nationalist leader Charles Stewart Parnell's final speech in Ireland before his death in 1891. The event is commemorated with a monument erected in 1946 by Taoiseach Eamon De Valera to commemorate the centenary of his birth.
