Ardfert Monastic Site
Ardfert monastery was founded by St. Brendan 'The Navigator' in the 6th century. The monastic site includes three medieval churches, an ancient Ogham stone and grave slabs that date from the early Christian and medieval periods. The cathedral is the earliest building which dates from the 1100s to the 1600s.
