Kenmare Heritage Centre
The history of the planned estate town of Kenmare is detailed in the heritage centre. There are exhibits focusing on Margaret Anna Cusack better known as the 'Nun of Kenmare.' The centre also covers the historical sites in the locality, events such as the Famine, the local landlords and Kenmare lace. Audio guides are in English, French and German. The heritage trails begins in Kenmare town and proceeds for approximately forty minutes.
