Irish Pewtermill
Housed in an old mill in Timolin, Co. Kildare, the craft of pewter has been resurrected. Pewter is one of the oldest alloys and was strictly controlled in Ireland from 1697 onwards especially in the use of lead which was outlawed. it is claimed that the craft of pewter in Timolin is reputed to be of the highest finish in the world.
