Cahir Castle
Cahir Castle was an important fortress of the Butler family guarding a strategic crossing point on the River Suir. Much of the original medieval castle remains including the keep, towers and outer walls. Visitors can tour the castle and watch an audio-visual display about the history of the stronghold.
