Glenstal Abbey Library
Growing steadily since 1927, the Glenstal Abbey Library is today one of the largest private libraries in Ireland, containing nearly 60,000 manuscripts and volumes and almost one hundred journal publications. The majority of the content is theological but there ae also significant collections of Irish history, literature, biography and art. Some of the oldest books are from the 15th century.
