Dundalk Institute of Technology Library
The Library at Dundalk Institute of Technology provides a range of services and materials to support students, academic staff and members of the public.
Designed to enable collaborative learning, the Library has spaces for group and independent study, contains more than 100 PCs and provides Wi-Fi access. It also holds thousands of books and journals while curating a virtual collection of e-books and journal articles.
In Autumn 2012, DkIT Library in conjunction with Louth County Libraries launched the 1 Card 6 Libraries project, an innovative venture which sees an academic and a public library extend membership and services to their combined members. This in turn has led to the development of other projects, such as the Writer in Residence program and the Dundalk Book Festival.
